IEA Solar Heating & Cooling Programme Announces Call for 2014 SHC Solar Award Nominations
It is time once again for you, your colleagues and other associates to submit nominations for the 2014 SHC Solar Award. This year's award will recognize an outstanding municipality in the field of solar thermal at SHC 2014: International Conference on Solar Heating and Cooling for Buildings and Industry in Beijing, China this October.
2014 Award to Honor a Municipality
This year’s SHC Solar Award will recognize a municipality leading the way in the field of solar thermal. Nominate a municipality with significant achievements in solar thermal market development, work in reducing market barriers and/or demonstration of large-scale projects. Nominees shall have shown outstanding leadership or achievements that support the work of the Solar Heating and Cooling Programme.
How to Submit a Nomination
If you are a SHC Executive Committee member send your nomination directly to the Award Committee Chairman, Doug McClenahan at dmcclena@nrcan.gc.ca. If you are not a SHC Executive Committee member please send your nomination to your country’s SHC Executive Committee member, contact information can be found at http://iea-shc.org/executive-committee
All nominations are to include:
1. Name of nominee and contact information (address, phone, e-mail).
2. Short statement on why the nominee should be selected.
